PM Narendra Modi greets US President in Japan, hugs

Hiroshima: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Joe Biden greet and hug each other during the G-7 summit in the Japanese city of Hiroshima. There was also a brief discussion between the two leaders. Prime Minister Modi is also scheduled to go on a state visit to America next month.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will pay an official visit to the US next month at the invitation of President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden. A state banquet will be organized for Prime Minister Modi on June 22. This will be Prime Minister Modi’s first US visit after Joe Biden became President. Prime Minister Modi went to Washington in September 2021 to attend the meeting of the leaders of the Quad group. Prime Minister Modi had a bilateral meeting with Biden during that visit.
