Katharina Wackernagel loves cinema fun in the 70s

Berlin / Hamburg ((TEH)) – Actress Katharina Wackernagel has come out as a fan of Klamauk cinema greats of the 70s like Louis de Funes and Pierre Richard.

“I’m actually a comedy fan – but strangely enough I’m rarely cast in one,” said the 41-year-old (“Stralsund”, “Aenne Burda”) of the German Press Agency in Hamburg. On the one hand, her sense of the French canvas works had to do with her childhood – “I was watching it with my brothers back then.”
On the other hand, she particularly appreciates French culture and its esprit, said Wackernagel. “They can make fun of their own culture so nicely. Even if things are pretty rough at Funes and Co. But that is so exaggerated that it is good again, “said the television star.
German comedies are “sometimes undecided”, said the actress, who made her directorial debut in 2019 with the bizarre cinema comedy “When flies dream”.
In a serious role, she can be seen on television in the feature film “Master of Death 2” – alongside colleagues such as Veronica Ferres, Heiner Lauterbach and Axel Milberg. Daniel Harrich’s work will be running on Wednesday at 8:15 p.m. as part of the “Arms Trade” theme evening.
