London (TEH) – The British comedian and actor John Cleese use self-isolation in times of the coronavirus pandemic to get active on Instagram.
The 80-year-old, who became famous as a member of the comedian group Monty Python in the 1970s with the TV series “Monty Python’s Flying Circus”, opened an account with the online service on Thursday. Cleese published a short welcome video (“The life of Brian”, “A fish called Wanda”). “Because of the boredom in this quarantine,” he decided to do so, he announced in parallel on Twitter, where he has been present since 2007.
Cleese still had problems with the name Instagram. “I decided to open my own official kilogram account,” he joked in the video clip before his daughter corrected him from the background. Cleese also revealed what he wants to offer his fans on Instagram: “You can come here and visit me and see thousands of my most private and intimate photos.”
