London (TEH) – The British singer Marianne Faithfull is treated for a coronavirus infection in a London hospital. The condition of the 73-year-old is stable, her agent Francois Rivard said on a report from the PA news agency on Sunday. “We all wish her a quick and complete recovery,” Rivard said.

Faithfull became known, among other things, with the song “As Tears Go By”, which Rolling Stones members Mick Jagger and Keith Richards wrote for them in the 1960s. The singer was sometimes in a relationship with Jagger.
Many celebrities had recently tested positive for the coronavirus, including actors Tom Hanks and Idris Elba.
