Bobic congratulates Hertha on Labbadia: “One with an asterisk”

– Published on:

Berlin – Fredi Bobic sees his ex-club Hertha BSC with Bruno Labbadia as the new head coach well positioned.

“I immediately congratulated Michael Preetz on this very good solution,” said the 48-year-old sports director at Eintracht Frankfurt at “Bild am Sonntag”. «Bruno is humanly one with an asterisk, a totally straight guy, extremely motivated. It is certainly one of the top 3 solutions the market has to offer right now. »

In the season interruption of the soccer Bundesliga, the Berliners had parted ways with Alexander Nouri and signed Labbadia. After 25 games, Hertha is sixth ahead of the relegation zone in 13th place.

Most recently, Labbadia had trained VfL Wolfsburg until summer 2019. “He always has a really good plan for how his boys should train, perform and play,” said Bobic. «Bruno likes offensive football, his teams are marching.

He always wants total success, that’s what drives him. He is very experienced, but not as dogged as before. »
