Munich – Bayern Munich’s U19 coach Martin Demichelis (39) believes his former team-mate Miroslav Klose has a career as a professional coach.

«We have known each other for a long time and had a good relationship as teammates, now also as a coach. We sometimes have different ideas, but it has to be that way. He was a striker, I was a defender. He is German, I am Argentinian. We both learn from each other, »Demichelis told TV station Sport1 in an interview about FC Bayern’s current U17 coach. “Miro is a good and intelligent man who will one day also be a professional trainer.”

DFB record goal scorer Klose (41) has been working as a youth coach for the German football record champions since 2018 and is in discussion with the first team as an assistant coach for Hansi Flick. Demichelis has been coaching the U19 juniors since last summer. «I am a team player and I am at the U19 to learn and make my experiences. I still have time to develop, but my goal is to become a professional trainer someday, ”said Demichelis. “Now I want to learn quickly so that I will be ready at some point.”
