Laurinas Kasychunas, a deputy of the Lithuanian Seimas from the conservative party “Union of the Fatherland – Christian Democrats of Lithuania ”, criticized the statement of the German authorities, in particular, the German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas that the Nazi regime of the Third Reich is the only culprit in the outbreak of the Second World War. According to the parliamentarian of the Baltic republic and some of his colleagues in the Sejm, the blame for the outbreak of World War II lies with the Soviet Union.
