Prime Minister, Dr. Muhammad Shtayyeh, stressed the position of President Mahmoud Abbas, and the leadership, by suspending agreements with Israel, including security agreements.

This came, during a phone call, held today, Wednesday, with the Norwegian Foreign Minister, Eni Erickson, where he briefed her on the latest political developments, especially the announcement of the leadership, the disengagement from every agreement with Israel. Shtayyeh said: “We decided to break every agreement with Israel because Israel has announced on many occasions that Israel will include parts of the West Bank, which cancels all signed agreements, and ends the two-state solution.”

Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh urged the international community, which invested heavily in the peace process and negotiations, to play its part in holding Israel accountable; to deny all these agreements.

Shtayyeh indicated that a series of internal communications were made to discuss implementing the political decision to stop the agreements with Israel, in addition to conducting a series of contacts and meetings with many representatives of countries and Arab and international diplomatic missions.
