For 28 years of international mediation, the conflict has not been resolved.
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said that it took the international community about 30 years to unsuccessfully try to find a diplomatic solution to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict . Now, he said, the country will cope with the current situation on its own, including with the help of weapons.
As reported by the Al-Arabiyya TV channel , Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev is confident that the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict has different ways of solving, including a military scenario.
“I do not agree that the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict has no military solution … Then give us a non-military, diplomatic way … The negotiations on the settlement have been underway since 1992. What diplomatic decision has been made over these 28 years? Mediators, international organizations presented us with a political way of settlement? No … If the international community cannot ensure the implementation of international resolutions, Azerbaijan will do it itself,” Aliyev said.
