Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev announced, Thursday, that his country’s army has liberated six new villages from the Armenian occupation.

Aliyev said in a tweet on Twitter that the Azerbaijani army had liberated the villages of “Arish” in the city of Fuzuli and “Duchlo” in the city of Gabriel.

He added that the Azerbaijani army liberated the villages of “Adisha “, “Dudukcho “, “Edeli ” and “Cheraguz ” in the city of Khojawand .

Aliyev continued, “Long live the Azerbaijani army, Karabakh of Azerbaijan.”

On 27 September, the Azerbaijani army launched an operation in the occupied “Karabakh”, in response to an Armenian attack targeting civilian areas, during which it managed to liberate the city of Gabriel, the town of Hadrut, and more than 30 villages from the Armenian occupation.

On Friday, a humanitarian truce was reached after a lengthy trilateral meeting held in the capital, Moscow , between the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Russia.

However, Armenia violated the armistice after less than 24 hours, by bombing the city of Ganja with missiles, killing 10 civilians and wounding 35 others.

According to the  Azerbaijani Public Prosecution, Armenian army attacks have killed 43 civilians and injured 218 others since September 27.
