China, after a series of pressures, has approved the entry of international experts from the World Health Organization (WHO) whose task is to investigate the origin of the coronavirus.

They will arrive in China on January 14, Chinese national health authorities said.

The WHO has been trying for months to send a team of experts from several countries to China, which it has been discussing with Chinese officials since July last year. Scientists want to determine how the virus spread to humans and where it originated, at the request of many countries around the world.

Scientists are definitely planning to visit Wuhan, the Chinese city where the first cases of coronavirus appeared. However, on the eve of the trip of the team of scientists, information is coming from China about other hotspots of the initial spread of the virus. Senior Chinese diplomat Wang Yi said that “more and more research shows that the virus has appeared in more regions.”
