The Henley Passport Index, as every year, has published the latest report and ranking of state passports for 2021. 110 countries are covered, and the passport of India is in 85th place. In the 2019 Passport ranking, India was at 82th place. Indian passport lost, slipped by 3 positions from 82th to 85th.

Countries around the world are entering new blockades due to the current pandemic with the goal of preventing the spread of coronavirus, and when the restrictions are lifted, it is likely that vaccination before travel will be necessary, writes CNN .

Residents of Asian countries still have the most powerful travel documents.

The index does not take into account temporary restrictions, so Japan is again at the top of the list , offering visa-free access to 191 destinations around the world.

Singapore is in second place (with a score of 190), and South Korea shares third place with Germany (with a score of 189).
