On Thursday, February 18, the presidents of Russia and Turkey, Vladimir Putin and Recep Erdogan, held a telephone conversation, during which they discussed the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh and possible supplies of Russian vaccine to Turkey.
During the conversation, the question was raised about the possible localization of the production of the Russian vaccine in Turkey, as well as the problem of the Syrian settlement. “In light of the efforts of Russia and Turkey to stabilize the situation in Idlib province, mutual commitment to an uncompromising fight against international terrorist groups that have settled in Syria has been reaffirmed,” the Kremlin’s press service said in a statement.
Also, the presidential administration noted, the leaders of the two countries agreed on the need to form transitional authorities in Libya with the assistance of the UN.
