U.S. police in charge of protecting the Congress building said they stepped up security on Capitol Hill this week because of information and intelligence related to March 4.

For this date, far-right conspiracy theorists believe that former US President Donald Trump will return to power, ABC NEWS reports.

–  The department has received information and intelligence related to March 4 and continues to work with all our law enforcement partners – the federal agency said.

The threats are said to come from QAnon, the umbrella term for a series of refuted and discredited online conspiracy theories that claim the world is run by a secret group of pedophiles.

Followers of the movement believe that Trump was robbed in the 2020 presidential elections.
