Trump returns to the social media networks with his own platform

The former president of the United States returns to the political scene after losing the elections to Democrat Joe Biden.

The former US President Donald Trump plans to return to social networks soon, in “his own platform, ” after his Twitter accounts and other applications were canceled, said his advisor.

“I think we will see President Trump return to social media in probably two or three months,” Jason Miller told Fox News .

“It’s going to completely redefine the game, and everyone will be waiting and watching to see what exactly President Trump does, but it will be his own platform,” said Miller, who held senior positions in both Trump presidential campaigns.

Trump’s provocative use of social media, a defining characteristic of his presidency, drew 88 million followers to Twitter.

He often used his tweets to attack his critics, to fire officials, or to announce significant policy changes.

But Twitter canceled his @realDonaldTrump account after he used it to encourage his followers to participate in the rally that turned into the violent assault on the United States Capitol on January 6.

Trump was also temporarily or permanently suspended by other platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Snapchat.

Since leaving Washington for his residence in Mar-a-Lago, Florida, the former president has kept a relatively low profile, largely relegated to issuing occasional press releases.

But Miller said Trump had been working hard.

According to Miller, the ex-president has had many important meetings in Mar-a-Lago. “There have been numerous companies,” he said.

“This new platform is going to be great, and everyone wants it; he will bring millions and millions, tens of millions of people to this new platform,” predicted the former advisor, who did not give more details or say if he will participate.

Despite his November loss to Democrat Joe Biden , Trump remains influential in the Republican Party and has not ruled out a third presidential bid in 2024.
