Statement of Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community about Prince Philip

It is with great sadness that I have learned of the death of His Royal Highness, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.

‘Surely, to God we belong and to Him shall we return.’ (Holy Quran, Chapter 2, Verse 157).

On behalf of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community worldwide, I offer my heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathies to Her Majesty The Queen, to all members of the Royal family and all citizens of this nation.

I pray that may God Almighty grant comfort and solace to Her Majesty The Queen and all members of the Royal family during this difficult time. I pray for the continued good health and long life of Her Majesty The Queen.
