In the incident with an emergency landing in Minsk, the landing of the plane of the Irish airline Ryanair, Belarus took all measures in accordance with international rules. This said the press secretary of Russian President Dmitry Peskov.

“If we understand correctly, there was a message about the existence of a certain threat on board, and in accordance with international rules, the necessary alerts were made,” Peskov told reporters.

“In general, there could be a threat to the life of not only Russian citizens, but all the people on board. In order to minimize this threat, some actions were allegedly taken by the dispatchers,” the Kremlin spokesman added.

The spokesman for the Russian leader noted that Moscow does not believe that due to the forced landing, “the lives of the Russians on board were endangered.”

Earlier, reports on the allegedly on board four Russian citizens were commented on by the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Maria Zakharova.
