A spokesman for the Israeli Prime Minister, Naftali Bennett, said on Sunday, that the Prime Minister held a session to assess the situation on the Temple Mount, and instructed the continuation of Jewish visits to it “on a regular and safe basis.”

The spokesman, Ofir Gendelman, added, through his account on Telegram, that the session was held with the participation of the Minister of Internal Security and the Commissioner-General of the Police, noting that the Prime Minister will hold other sessions to assess the situation in the coming hours.

On the other hand, the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates called on the international community to take a firm stance to stop the ongoing Israeli aggression on Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The Palestinian News Agency (WAFA ) quoted the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as saying in a statement that it condemns the “incursions” that were subjected to the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque by some ultra-Orthodox Jews this morning, holding the Israeli government fully responsible for the “continuous targeting” of Al-Quds, especially Al-Aqsa.

Settlers stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque two days ago, under heavy guard from the Israeli police, and performed provocative Talmudic rituals in its courtyards, until they left it from Bab al-Silsila .

They also called for a mass storming of Al-Aqsa today, Sunday, to mark what they claim is the “destroying of the Temple.”
