The Pervomaisky district court of Bishkek decided to suspend the ex-official in remand center-1 until February 24. Jenisha Razakova was arrested on the basis of the statement of former Deputy of the Supreme Council Arzybeka Burhanova.
The Home Office announced that the suspect was charged with two criminal offences.

The detainee’s lawyer, Aibek Omurov, said that a criminal case had been opened under Article 209 (“Fraud”) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, but according to him, it was done unreasonably :

No one told her it was Burhanova’s money. But it wasn’t until 2022 that it turns out Burhanov’s money was there. The money was taken in 2017.
The Ministry of Interior of the Kyrgyz Republic issued an official statement, stating that two criminal cases are under investigation against Jenisha Razakova. Indeed, he is suspected not only of fraud, but also of abuse of his official position (Article 337 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic – ed. approx.).
According to information from the department, ex-deputy Arzybek Burhanov applied to the investigative service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in September 2022 “with a request for acceptance from the mayor in connection with the illegal actions of a citizen who occupied previously a management position. The complaint states that “in the fall of 2017, former Deputy Prime Minister Jenish Razakov entered into a trust, using his official position, under the guise of carrying out entrepreneurial activities, took possession of funds in the amount of $1,000,000”.
So, at the beginning of October last year, the Investigative Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs initiated criminal proceedings for the crime, provided for by part 4 of article 209 of the Criminal Code of the Republic Kyrgyz.
Zhenish Razakov was governor of the Batken region from 2012 to 2016. In 2017 she served as secretary of the Kyrgyz Republic Security Council, and in 2018 she became an adviser to the country’s president. From 2018 to 2020 he worked as Deputy Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic and was in charge of security issues, borders and the EAEU. And in February 2020, when the process of negotiations with Tajikistan on border issues was in an active phase, he left the chair and explained his decision family circumstances .
When Zhenish Razakov was in power, various criticisms were leveled at him.
