Rapid development of Russian electric vehicles and charging infrastructure
The session on the development of electric transport in the Russian Federation was held last week in the capital, in addition to assessing the state of the market for electric vehicles, the situation with the system of services necessary to ensure charging normal for this type of transport has also been considered.
The strategy for the evolution of electric transport comprises 3 stages. The first stage – the start of the market for fast charging stations and the creation of operating laws suitable for participants in the process, has been in force since last year. The next step involves an increase in demand and an increase in production, and a third is the localization of production.
The Russian automotive industry produced about 2,000 electric cars in 2022, this year plans to increase the number of electric cars to 18,000, in 2024 it is planned to send 36,000 from the assembly line. So far, our state has registered 24.5 thousand electric cars.
There are 439 fast charging stations in twelve pilot regions. There are more than 7,500 charging stations in Russia, which serve 35 EZS operators. 872 other EZS are in the process of commissioning and it is possible to receive a subsidy for the organization of BZS.
According to Andrey Belousov, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, by next year there will be about 3,000 charging stations in our country.
Deputy head of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, Albert Karimov, reported on the help provided to increase the production of electric transport, its components and to stimulate demand. These include the operation of the program of preferential car loans and car rental, financing of research and development, the conclusion of special investment contracts with manufacturers.
In the meantime, it became known that Lamborghini offered a special “eclair”.
