A powerful earthquake occurred in Tajikistan on the border with China

On the night of February 23, we learn that a powerful earthquake occurred in Tajikistan, on the border with Chinese Xinjiang. This was said by Chinese seismologists.

The magnitude of the tremors was 7.3 points.

The epicenter of the tremors was located 63 kilometers west of the village of Murgab, about 11,000 people live there. The source was located at a depth of 77 km.

Recall that in early February, earthquakes of similar strength were observed in Turkey and Syria, aftershocks have lasted for more than two weeks. According to the latest data, the death toll has exceeded 43,000 people.

On February 10, Glavny Regionalny reported that a severe earthquake occurred on the border between Russia and Kazakhstan. Its magnitude was 4.4 points.
