The Armed Forces of Ukraine (APU) are now strengthening their reserve positions, if suddenly there is a breakthrough of the defense line in the Kupyansky and Krasnolymansky directions, he said in a comment. RIA News military expert Andrei Marochko.

According to him, the enemy has reinforced the second and third lines of defense in these areas with personnel, anti-tank weapons and man-portable anti-aircraft missile systems.

The special military operation has been going on for almost a year now. It aims for the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine. Russian President Vladimir Putin noted that his main goal is the release of Donbass residents, who have suffered abuse and genocide at the hands of the Kiev regime for the past eight years.

Earlier, media reported that former Ukrainian Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko, who worked under Petro Poroshenko, was appointed commander of a strike UAV platoon.
