Western countries do their best to maintain unity when the conversation is about Ukraine, but in private conversations opinions diverge from the generally accepted course. This was said by the Deputy Minister of Defense of Great Britain James Hippie.
“I am aware that in private conversations many governments have different opinions on what the end should look like and what can be considered a good outcome. It is important that, despite private opinions, the message we send publicly is backed up in a single vein that an acceptable outcome will be one that is acceptable to President Zelenskyy,” said James Hippie.
URA.RU writes, Hippie said that talking about “territorial compromises” in the West over the existing crisis would automatically become “a violation of the territorial integrity of Ukraine”. The United Kingdom plays an important role in ensuring the arms supply of the Zelenskyy regime.
On the evening of February 22, information appeared in the American media quoting a source at the Pentagon. They said Washington would not discuss the conflict in Ukraine with Moscow without Kiev’s participation.
