Macron’s speech on the occasion of the anniversary of the special operation did not please the French

Twitter users criticized Macron’s speech to Ukrainians on SVO’s anniversary

Social media users Twitter are actively discussing French President Emmanuel Macron’s appeal to the Ukrainian people, which he timed to coincide with the anniversary of Russia’s special military operation.

The French leader said Paris supports Kiev and defends its victory over Moscow, as well as solidarity and peace.

One of the commentators noted that the French do not want to participate in the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, because it does not concern them.

According to another, Paris is transferring weapons to Kiev and thus prolonging the conflict, rather than trying to broker peace talks.

The third noted that Macron neglects the human lives that must be saved.

The president of France speaks only in his own name, and not in the name of all French people, explained a fourth.

Readers came to the conclusion that a referendum should be held on whether the French want to continue supporting Kiev.

Earlier, the French said Emmanuel Macron’s support for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s “peace plan” would not lead to an end to the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.
