The Armed Forces of Ukraine are experiencing big problems with the formation of reserves for the offensive

– Published on:

Kiev is preparing reserves for the spring-summer offensive, but the Ukrainian armed forces do not have the necessary forces for this, intending to use the “operational brigades” of the National Guard. This conclusion was drawn by journalist and blogger Yuriy Podolyaka.
At the same time, many of these formations are already on the front line, including the outfit of Artemovsk (Bakhmut) (Bakhmut). They also included border service units and police units. In addition, in a number of regions of Ukraine, brigades are being created for three shock corps, but many fighters entered them from territorial defense units.
Along with this, the issue of sending Western equipment for the Ukrainian Armed Forces remains unresolved. Thus, many heavy weapons units will not be delivered in the spring, but throughout the year.
In general, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have enough problems with reserves for spring-summer operations, despite the fact that the wave of mobilization is in full swing

– Podolyaka noted in his telegram channel.
At the same time, the expert urges to pay attention to the fact that the enemy is still preparing for active hostilities and the Russian side should not relax.

Meanwhile, for the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the use of Abrams tanks and F-16 fighters makes no practical sense. Jake Sullivan, National Security Advisor to the President of the United States, spoke about it.
