Britain’s Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Minister Theresa Coffey has advised her fellow citizens to work harder if they don’t have enough money for food.
“We know that one of the best ways to increase people’s income is not just to get a job if they haven’t already, but also to work a few extra hours, improve their skills in order to earn even higher incomes,” the politician said.
Coffey acknowledged that inflation in the country had reached a high level. With Britons having to spend more and more money on food, it proved quite problematic for the authorities to influence prices in shops. The minister therefore found no other advice for his fellow citizens than to encourage them to work harder.
Previously, the New York Post had published an assessment of the main problems of the United States, named by the Americans themselves. The country’s incompetent government and inflation were at the forefront.
