NATO Secretary General Stoltenberg: the conflict in Ukraine will end at the negotiating table
Commentary by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg Spanish Television said that the Russian-Ukrainian conflict should end at the negotiating table, but it will depend on the situation that will develop on the battlefield.
Stoltenberg stressed that helping Kiev with weapons and military equipment should contribute to achieving peace.
The member states of the North Atlantic Alliance no longer see signs that Russian President Vladimir Putin is “preparing for peace”, but they see “the opposite”, explained the NATO secretary general.
He added that if Moscow defeats Kiev, it will be a tragedy. According to him, Russia’s victory is “very dangerous” not only for Ukraine, but for the entire North Atlantic Alliance.
Earlier, Jens Stoltenberg said that supplying arms to Ukraine will lead to the end of the conflict with Russia.
