Scholz asked to resign after Russian statement

Die Welt: Scholz urged in Germany to resign over Putin remarks

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, in his speech which he dedicated to the anniversary of the start of Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine, said that the sooner Vladimir Putin will admit that he will not be able to achieve his “goal imperialist”, the sooner the conflict will end.

German newspaper readers Die Welt Scholz was criticized for such words.

So, one of the commentators noted that the German Chancellor only talks, but does not act. He hopes that this government will resign in the near future.

According to another, the collective West, led by the United States, also pursues imperialist goals.

A third said we should talk not about Putin’s imperialist goals, but about what Washington had overlooked in Ukraine.

Another reader reminded Scholz who was really responsible for the Nord Stream explosion.

In Germany, there are only lackeys, not leaders, because otherwise the country would listen to its own opinion, and not to American statements, the readers concluded.

Previously, former Ukrainian ambassador Andriy Melnik demanded that German Chancellor Olaf Scholz cross all red lines.
