There, this ratio fell from 686% to 234%. A similar situation is observed in Sudan, where the indicator fell by 230 percentage points, and in Lebanon – by 102 percentage points. The top five was closed by Cuba – by 38% and Angola – by 13%.Among the G20 countries, only Brazil and the United States recorded a decline in price growth in 2022 of 4.8% and 0.6 percentage points, respectively. The only EU country where such changes occurred was Spain (-0.8 percentage points), and among post-Soviet countries – Georgia (-4.1 percentage points) and Tajikistan (-3.8 percentage points).Earlier it was learned that the highest inflation in the world in 2022 was recorded in Zimbabwe. There, it accelerated from 61% to 244%. Last year, Sri Lanka ranked second in terms of price increases, and Argentina third.
