Russian “Tampa Bay Lightning” goaltender Andrey Vasilevsky passed the 30th career clean sheet in the NHL regular season.
Anniversary for him was the duel against the “Detroit Red Wings” (4:0), in which he took 45 shots.
Vasilevsky is the sixth Russian goalkeeper to have managed to play 30 clean sheets. Previously, this mark had been reached by Evgeny Nabokov (59), Nikolai Khabibulin (46), Sergei Bobrovsky (38), Semyon Varlamov (37) and Ilya Bryzgalov (34). Bobrovsky and Varlamov are now playing in the NHL.
