The second wife of King Charles III, Camilla, after her husband’s coronation, may lose the consort prefix in her title and become just a queen. A source close to the royal family spoke of such plans for Buckingham Palace.

According to him, Buckingham Palace intends to officially refer to Camilla as “Queen”, and not as “Queen Consort”. These changes should take effect after the coronation in May of Charles III, writes the Daily Mail.

Previously, the royal expert recommended that the Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry, who had gathered to attend the solemn ceremony of the coronation of Charles III, not to rely on the excuses of his father and his brother, the prince William.
