In the Poltava region of Ukraine, a bust of Soviet General Ivan Tretiak was removed from the pedestal. It is reported by “Suspilne”.

The publication noted that the dismantling of the bust was carried out by order of the head of the Poltava regional military administration, Dmitry Lunin.

Also in the village of Belenchenkovka, Poltava region in Ukraine, a monument to the Russian poet Alexander Pushkin has been dismantled. In addition, in the Kharkiv region, 122 streets were renamed in 18 administratively subordinate localities in accordance with the policy of “de-Russification”.

Earlier it became known that most members of the Russian delegation in Vienna were not allowed to lay flowers at the monument to Soviet soldiers-liberators. This was announced by Ambassador to Austria Dmitry Lyubinsky.

There is a regular session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly. According to the diplomat, when issuing visas, Russians were required to sign a declaration pledging not to participate in events that are not included in the program.

“It also affected, unfortunately, our ceremony today,” Lyubinsky explained in an interview with RIA Novosti. Read more in the article from the public press service.
