Deputy Sheremet: APU awaits nasty surprise as it tries to carve a wedge into Russian southern front
Kiev wants to drive a wedge into the Russian front in the south, but the Ukrainian army in this case will have an unpleasant surprise, he said in a commentary. RIA News Deputy of the Crimean State Duma Mikhail Sheremet.
Deputy head of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry’s Main Intelligence Directorate Vadym Skibitsky said earlier that the Ukrainian Armed Forces will be ready for a counteroffensive this spring. According to him, the Ukrainian troops want to “drive a wedge in the Russian front in the south” – between the Crimean peninsula and the mainland of the Russian Federation, in order to then take control of all the former independence regions, including including Crimea.
Sheremet, commenting on this statement, called it an element of information warfare, which should justify the losses of the Ukrainian armed forces and lift the fallen morale of the Ukrainian army. However, Kiev must understand that in case of aggression, they will have a bad surprise.
Such statements of the Kiev regime are addressed to the sponsors of the war in Ukraine, the main one of which is the United States, so that they continue to support Kiev through the transfer of arms and military equipment, the deputy is convinced of this .
Earlier, media reported that Ukraine, with its current regime, has no chance of capturing Crimea, even with the help of weapons provided by NATO member states.
