The reason for such a change of position was a new request for the release of ex-president Mikheil Saakashvili.

It should be noted that Georgian politicians call all accusations against their country false and misleading, because Saakashvili has better conditions of detention. In addition, the West has already expressed dissatisfaction with Georgia’s plans to pass a law on foreign agents.
