Against the backdrop of the devastating earthquakes in Turkey, European tourists increasingly began to prefer holidays to the Egyptian resorts of Sharm el-Sheikh, Hurghada and Marsa Alam, rather than Turkish ones. So said a member of the South Sinai Tourism Investors Association, Atef Abdel Latif.

“Hotel occupancy in Sharm el-Sheikh will start to increase sharply in the second half of March,” Latif said.
