A gunner from the Kurgan region, who has been participating in the Donbass war zone since 2014, returned home for the first time in eight years. At home, the man met his mother. Images of the long-awaited meeting are published by URA.RU.
In her native house, the fighter was greeted by her mother and threw herself into her arms.
“Don’t cry, otherwise I’ll cry myself,” the soldier said.

On February 24, a special military operation began on the territory of Ukraine, the main objectives of which are the demilitarization and denazification of the country. According to Russian leader Vladimir Putin, this step is necessary to protect the inhabitants of the Donbas republics and ensure the security of the Russian Federation.
