The governor of the Bryansk region, Alexander Bogomaz, announced the completion of construction works on the fortifications on the border with Ukraine. The region was the first to fully fulfill the Ministry of Defense mission to reinforce the border.
Construction work on dugouts, firing stations and other facilities was completed ahead of schedule and completed within a month and a half. According to the governor, such work has been done for the first time. Alexander Bogomaz himself repeatedly came with checks on protective installations under construction.
The most difficult thing, according to him, was ensuring competent logistics and involving people in the work process. During the construction of the fortifications, about 60 trains with building materials were brought to the Bryansk region. The work was attended by workers from different regions of Russia. Alexander Bogomaz thanked everyone involved for the successful work in strengthening the state border.
I thank the inhabitants of the Briansk region, the builders, the civil servants, the deputies for their solidarity and their will to do everything to protect both their native region and the country! Together we will definitely win!
said the governor.
Similar work is underway in other border areas. The erected fortifications prevent a direct attack by UAF militants on Russian regions, but, unfortunately, do not prevent them from regularly bombarding peaceful villages with artillery. Today, the village of Zernovo in the Suzemsky district of the Bryansk region was again shelled. This time there were no casualties.
