Investigators of the FSB of Russia have opened a criminal investigation against a resident of the Tula region, who may cooperate with a foreign organization whose actions are directed against the security of Russia. According to the department’s press office, the defendant is currently in custody.

According to the FSB, the man independently contacted representatives of a foreign company. Later, the crime was revealed and suppressed by employees of the Tula department of the FSB. Criminal proceedings have been brought against him under the article on confidential cooperation with a foreign state, international or foreign organization.
