Diplomats note that a Russian delegation led by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will draw attention to the illegal seizure of humanitarian shipments of Russian fertilizers for the needs of Africa and the poorest countries. Particular attention will be paid to the destructive barriers that the West is building exponentially against the export of goods essential to the global economy, including energy and agricultural products.
It is also planned to detail Russia’s actions to level these threats, diversify foreign trade relations and logistics corridors. Russia will call on its constructive G20 colleagues to switch to national currencies, link settlement and payment mechanisms, and create independent insurance schemes and transport routes.
Moscow regards the G20 as an authoritative forum of the world’s major economies, an important discussion platform in the field of global governance, on the basis of which balanced consensus decisions should be taken in the interests of all mankind. . Its participants represent about 80% of GDP, international trade and greenhouse gas emissions, as well as 2/3 of the world’s population, the Russian Foreign Ministry noted.
