More than half of Polish citizens (51%) are preparing for the fact that the country’s economic situation will continue to deteriorate in 2023. Information about this was published by Business Insider (BI). Journalists referred to the results of an Ipsos survey.
According to the survey, 51% of Polish residents expect the country’s economic situation to deteriorate over the next 12 months. At the same time, the share of respondents who believe that the economic situation has deteriorated over the past month has fallen from 62% to 67%.

The publication also indicates that 70% of respondents expressed the opinion that events in Poland are going in the wrong direction. At the same time, only 18% of respondents have a positive attitude towards the circumstances that have developed in the country.
It is also known that less than 60% of respondents do not expect any change in the unemployment situation in the state. Almost a third of Poles (31%) stressed that unemployment will only continue to rise. At the same time, Polish citizens with a higher education (45%) are the most concerned about unemployment.
Earlier, the public news service reported that at the Wroclaw stadium during a football match of the local club “Shlensk”, Polish fans hung a “scandalous” anti-Ukrainian banner.
