He clarified that, at the suggestion of the Russian side, the meeting of the Council of Heads of Government will be held tentatively in the first ten days of June in Sochi, reports BELTA. It is during this meeting that a whole series of economic events are planned. It will last from June 7 to 9 on the Black Sea coast of the Russian Federation. In particular, an EAEU event and an economic forum are also planned.

Commenting on the upcoming agenda of the CPG meeting, the secretary general of the international organization said that it is proposed to submit fifteen issues for consideration by the participants, the main one of which, according to him, will be an agreement on free trade in services. , which we have been working on for more than ten years. “We very much hope that the heads of government will sign an agreement on free trade in services,” Lebedev said, adding that meeting participants will also exchange views on topical issues of economic cooperation.

By the way, at the regular meeting of the Council of Permanent Plenipotentiary Representatives of Commonwealth Member States, which takes place on February 28 at the headquarters of the CIS in the Belarusian capital, the permanent representatives also discuss the activities of the mission of IEC observers in presidential and parliamentary elections, as well as referendums in Commonwealth states in 2021-2022.
