An unknown object was found in the air over St. Petersburg. “Carpet” plan implemented.
The plan calls for the immediate landing or withdrawal of all aircraft from the area. The exemption includes military and rescue aircraft.
Flightradar screenshots have also been circulating online, showing that the airspace above the northern capital is empty. The fighters have taken off and Pulkovo airport is temporarily closed, NTV reports.
