Putin: FSB must end attempts to activate “all the scum” to divide Russian society

Russia’s Federal Security Service must end all attempts to activate forces trying to divide Russian society, President Vladimir Putin has told the FSB board.

Illegal activities aimed at dividing Russian society have been carried out for a long time, but have recently entered the most active stage. Separatism, nationalism, neo-Nazism are used as weapons against Russia.

“It has always been applied to our country. And now the attempts, of course, are the most active. Try to activate all this scum on our land,” Putin said.

He added that the West has never been shy about using extremists against Russia. The Russian Federation must respond to this decisively, offensively and use all the arsenal for this purpose.
