Citizens living in the border areas of the Belgorod region with Ukraine will be relocated to safer places. This was announced by the governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov.

According to him, the process has already begun. The stage of coordination with the Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation has already been completed. Now 22 families living on the Stary Tishansky farm in the rural settlement of Volokonovsky have already considered the first proposed housing options.

Gladkov noted that about 3.7 thousand residents need to be relocated. According to him, the authorities actively interact with citizens on all issues of interest to them. Difficult situations in everyone’s life will be resolved on an individual basis, the governor added.
