The United States has questioned the seriousness of China’s peaceful intentions

Washington sees reason to doubt Beijing’s proposed peace plan due to frequent contact with leaders of the Russian Federation. Ned Price, spokesman for the US State Department, expressed concern about this.

According to him, China interacts too often and a lot with Russia, and at the highest level. At the same time, there are no symmetrical contacts between Beijing and Kiev, which indicates the frivolity of the peace plan.

Earlier, the Chinese leadership provided a document consisting of 12 points, which outlines ways to resolve the Ukrainian crisis. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba promised that Kiev would study this initiative, but already at this stage he criticized the point of refusal to impose unilateral sanctions.
