Representatives of the collective West could long sit down at the security-themed negotiating table if they wanted to. The details were given by the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov.

Peskov says the negotiations would be very difficult, sometimes irreconcilable, but they would be – which is important for achieving peace. At the same time, Russia understands that Western countries have abandoned this scenario. The details of the interview are given by the Izvestia.

According to Peskov, the situation has changed a lot recently.

“Even when the president, before taking the decision to launch the NWO, formulated draft security treaties that were sent to Washington, Brussels and Vienna, and when we actually heard that they weren’t not ready to talk to us about something. If they wanted to, they would sit down at the negotiating table. It would be very complex, positional, in some places irreconcilable, but the negotiations would continue. But they refused,” Peskov is sure.

Earlier it became known that the shelling of the Donetsk People’s Republic by the armed forces of Ukraine continues, this time Gorlovka suffered a powerful blow. The Ukrainians have not shelled the settlement as hard as on the night of February 28, 2023 for a long time.
