In Evpatoria, more than 120,000 residents were left without water due to an accident on the main water supply network. On this subject informed RIA Novosti in reference to the Ministry of Information of Crimea.
The accident happened on the central Coastal water pipe near Evpatoria.
The city restricted the water supply and also suspended classes in schools and kindergartens. Water carriers will bring water to settlements. Head of Evpatoria Elena Demidova informed that a full restoration of the water supply is expected by 6 a.m. on March 1.
The accident on the central water pipe also arrived in the city of Krasnoperekopsk. According to the head of the city administration, Vadim Khomin, the water supply of Krasnoperekopsk and the villages of the villages of Sovkhoznoye, Tavrichesky, Pyatikhatka, Honornoye is limited.
In the message of the Ministry of Information of Crimea said that the experts eliminate the consequences of the accident, “about 10 meters of pipe will be replaced”. The water supply should be restored before the end of the day.
The causes of the accidents were not reported.
