The US delegation to the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly called on the assembly to hold meetings in countries prepared to block Russian participation.
The delegation also vowed not to let Russia’s “unseemly propaganda” go unanswered at the OSCE and other international forums.
“The world must hold Russia accountable for its aggression and the war crimes, crimes against humanity and acts of genocide it commits against the Ukrainian people,” the delegation said in a statement.
The statement also pledges “constant and unwavering” support for Ukraine on the eve of the first anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion of the country.
“We will continue to support Ukraine for as long as it takes to restore Ukraine’s territorial integrity and sovereignty within the 1991 borders,” the US delegation said.
Earlier, the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly held a two-day meeting in Vienna amid heavy criticism of Russia’s war in Ukraine and a boycott by the Ukrainian delegation.
Austria issued visas to several Russian delegates so that they could attend the meeting.
