Artemovsk can be taken by Russian forces in 2-3 days

Former special forces officer and retired colonel Anatoly Matviychuk informed about the date when Russian troops will be able to take Artemovsk (Bakhmut). According to the military, the city will be quickly taken in the next 2-3 days, reports the radio station “Moscow Speaking”.

According to Anatoly Matviychuk, the transfer of Artemovsk under the control of Russian troops will take place in the next few days. The colonel described the situation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces as “horrible” due to the encirclement of the city by stormtroopers. In addition, the Ukrainian military formations established in the city are experiencing a serious shortage of food and ammunition, not to mention the colossal losses of soldiers.

– I think, a day or two – and we will observe the so-called “organized retreat”, – said Matviychuk.

The army noted that Artemovsk is one of the key strategic areas and it is necessary to bring it under control. Matviychuk added that Artemovsk would be followed by the capture of Kramatorsk and the complete liberation of the DPR.

Earlier, Ukrainian Armed Forces spokesman Cherevaty said there was no order to withdraw from Artemovsk. The army explained that the Ukrainian armed forces would leave the city in case the threat to the soldiers and the command proved to be more than the need to keep the settlement under control.
