Automotive expert Haytseer explained how to prepare the car for the spring-summer period

– Published on:

Preparing a car for the spring-summer period is a whole science. National Automobile Union Vice President Yang Haytseer explained how best to deal with this task.According to the specialist, motorists should take care of summer tires in advance, because it is impossible to predict when they will have to switch to them. The expert also noted that winter tires are softer, which can increase braking distance in the warm season and worsen handling. “When (spring) comes, you have to check the cooling system, remove the additional shock absorbers, the heating, which drivers often do in winter,” he quotes NEWS.ru .Previously it was known that the engine power of the car may drop due to poor quality engine oil. According to expert Sergey Shabunin, this is due to the fact that the remnants of such oil can turn into deposits on the piston rings.
